Delivery of the X-Link

The X-Link interface is usually deliverd as a ready to go unit with cables for each radio model that it was ordered for.
However it can also be ordered as a generic unit that needs to be adjusted before use. Or there might be a reason for changing one or both of the connected radios and therefor also a need to readjust the interface.

Setting up the Mimer X-Link

To do settings in the interface you need to install a small utility software on a PC and connect through USB to the interface.

From the utility you can set the radio types that will be connected and also audio levels etc to get the best performance.

On this web page you will find the software utility as well as detailed instructions in a PDF document.

Setting up the connected radio

The connected radios  often needs to be setup in the correct way to work with the X-Link.
Instructions for each type of radio model are sorted after the number of the cable kit that connects the X-Link and the radio.

Please search for your cable number on the this page.
